DIAMOND LUXURY VILLA CORFU
The villa is situated in one of the most organized and old tourist resorts on the island at Messonghi and Moraitika village about 20 kilometers from Corfu Town. Messonghi village is located above the homonymous beach with shallow waters, this tourist settlement offers a wide variety of tourist accommodation. In the center of Messonghi, on the main street, you will find all sorts of shops, as well as taverns to taste the Corfu cuisine. There are many other dining options such as gourmet restaurants, international cuisine restaurants and snack bars. When we decided to build the Diamond Villa and the Luxury Privet Apartment, we could not help but imagine what kind of residence we, as visitors, would be contented with. Being a family of hard working people and having Corfu Island as our homeland, we always have in mind what satisfies people the most. Situated in a hillside position in the area of Kato Spileo the villa is in a quiet and peaceful spot yet it is within walking distance to all amenities, a 2-minute drive from Messonghi Beach,The villa is set within a plot of 790 sqm of land and is fully landscaped to offer stunning external living spaces. Surrounded by olive trees, flowers, and shrubs the gardens are a wonderfully peaceful area to relax, dine alfresco or soak up the sun.
Top quality materials are used throughout with a boxed roof constructed with natural wooden beams and wooden boards covered with beautiful traditional Corfiot handmade roof tiles.
The villa is complete with cooling system with autonomous operation in each space, a built in Fan coil heating and cooling system that again has autonomous operation in each space.
MESSONGHI BEACH
Diamond Villa has been a holiday destination for at least forty years, well known for its friendly and welcoming hosts and has everything that is needed to make your stay on Corfu perfect. The beach is shingle and the sea is shallow without any strong current. Well stocked supermarkets and a bakery, local artists selling their creations and of course an excellent choice of tavernas and beach side restaurants serving traditional Greek and international dishes. Several chilled bars ideal for your pre dinner drink or post dinner cocktail. A frequent and reliable bus service to Corfu Town and resorts between make Messonghi a great base for exploring the island.
HISTORICAL VALUE
The South of Corfu is steeped in history. Roman baths are to be discovered in the most unlikely places! As a base for exploring the island by car, close to Messonghi the ruins of an important medieval castle and a Catholic monastery can be found. Travelling 15 minutes north, located above Benitses the Achillion Palace sits in beautifully manicured gardens surrounded by sculptures that pay homage to the Greek hero Achillies. Heading west, a traditional olive press operates, using a process long discarded, but producing wonderful oil.
