Terms and Conditions/Rental Contract Booking a villa is very different from booking a regular hotel room, especially with regard to payments and cancellations. Please do not just tick the box to accept these terms and conditions – do please read the following conditions carefully.

Payment

When you make a booking request, you must make the appropriate deposit payment within 5 working days of availability confirmation. A 30% deposit payment must be received. If the required deposit payment is not received within the 5 working day period, we reserve the right to void your booking request. You must pay the remaining 70% balance upon arrival in cash or by bank transfer not less than 8 working days before the scheduled arrival date.

All payments must be made in Euro, unless otherwise agreed.

If payments are not made on or before the due dates as required herein, your booking might be cancelled, in which case this Rental Contract will be thereby terminated without any further notice required. Cancellation charges may apply as detailed below.

Additional costs

The cost of electricity, mains water, cleaning, garden supplies, internet and local taxes are included in rental rates. There are no additional costs, surcharges, taxes, staff salaries, or management fees above the price quoted.

If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.

Reservation Confirmation

Confirmation details with reservation code, contact details of the Owner or Owner’s Representative, transfer arrangements and other agreed extra services will be sent to you in a reservation confirmation e-mail when the deposit is received. This e-mail, along with your passport, need to be presented upon arrival.

Arrival/Departure times

Check-out and check-in times are 10:00 and 14:00 respectively unless stated otherwise.

We will always try to accommodate your actual arrival and departure times, subject to availability. Please do advise us of any changes to your schedule so every effort can be made to accommodate you.

Security Deposit

A security deposit may be payable directly to the Owner or Owner’s Representative immediately upon arrival at the Ionian Pearl. The standard security deposit required is 500 Euro. Access to the villa may be refused if security deposit is not paid in full. The security deposit can be paid in cash, or by credit card pre-authorization. The security deposit will normally be refunded at the end of the rental period, after deducting: all additional expenses incurred on your behalf (e.g. additional charges for goods, services and staff which have not been directly paid by you and international telephone calls, if applicable) and the cost of replacement or repair for any loss or damage to the Diamond villa or its surrounds or contents caused during the Rental Period. If this cost cannot be reasonably determined prior to your departure, the Owner or the Owner’s Representative is entitled to withhold a reasonable estimate from your security deposit, and will return any balance to you as soon as possible after the actual cost has been determined.
